Position Description
E&C
Primary Purpose:
Implements and maintains electrical power circuits and equipment, control and automation systems, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pipeline, compressor stations, plant operations and facilities.
Essential duties and
Responsibilities:
oDuties include installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment, and completing all appropriate documentation associated with the duties.
oPerform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
oPerforms Inspection and Maintenance (I&M) checks on all control systems.
oIdentify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
oPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
oDemonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
oMentor fellow employees when the opportunity presents itself.
oMaintain electrical switch gear and power distribution
oPerform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing. Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testing.
oAssist Corrosion and Engineering personnel with the evaluation / development / implementation / maintenance of facility grounding systems.
oInstall, analyze and repair security/intrusion systems
oResponsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.
oOversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
oOther duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Educational Requirements
oTwo year Associate Degree in job related technical training or equivalent work experience.
Experience / specific knowledge:
oWorking knowledge of National Electric Codes
oProficient with electronic test instruments
oKnowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals
oKnowledge and experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits
oKnowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams
oKnowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc)
o Knowledge of company policies and practices, and regulatory requirements.
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
oMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers
oMay be required to possess a commercial driver's license, drive a company commercial vehicle and comply with all commercial vehicle regulations.
oMay be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties.
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
oMust respond to, and address, callouts and emergencies during and after regular business hours including after dark hours, which require carrying a communication device.
o Travel will be required.
o Overtime may be required and is anticipated.
oJob planning and prioritizing
o Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, operating systems, company software).
oBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
oGood verbal and written communication skills

oJob level commensurate with experience and skill sets
oThe successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed
Working conditions / Physical demands:
oMust be able to withstand extreme weather conditions
oMust be able to frequently, enter confined spaces, climb to and work from elevated platforms, excavated areas, ladders, stairwells, walkways, etc
oMust be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds in awkward positions, and ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist (occasional)
oMay work in low-lit areas
oBe available for shift work when applicable.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge (above the minimum requirements; not required, but advantageous in this position)
o5 years experience in operating and maintaining plants and compressors.
oKnowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids and high pressure systems.
oKnowledge and experience with electronic equipment, high pressure gas, processing equipment, pumps and reciprocating or gas turbine engines and compressors.
oKnowledge of Wonderware software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
